Let’s Do Yellow for Summer

Hey there lovelies!

I am back to show you an outfit I put together based on the fun summer activities I have been attending. Lately, I have found a new love for my bright colors such as this vibrant mustered yellow knitted top I wearing. This top, by Rachel Roy, is sold at Macy’s Department Store in Union Square – downtown San Francisco. It is made to fit perfect because of the way it hugs the body  in all the right places without being too suffocating. Besides the great color, the detailed knit work is what ultimately drew me to pick up this piece.

I paired it with a lightweight knee-length pencil skirt that had a beautiful floral pattern design on it. It originally had a matching patterned top but I wanted to change it up and grab a textured top that had the same tone of yellow to make it completely my own style. The skirt is by BAR III also available at Macy’s . It was made to hug the hips and thighs without too much stretch in the material. This is a very classy look with a young twist to it.

A couple of gold and bronze metal accessories were added to make the outfit complete. A statement necklace is always a way to add to an outfit. A simple clutch is just right for this slimming look. With the warm toned top, don’t be afraid to mix metal tones as I did with the necklace and the clutch. It all comes together as you look at the outfit as a whole.

As for my makeup,  I used EYEMIMO’s pigmented Eye Shadow in the colors below!

A simple winged black eyeliner

and EYEMIMO false eyelashes style #NTR55 complete my eye look.
