Daytime Smokey Eye

It’s great to have an everyday natural look, but switching your daily routine for a smokey eye is a way to spice things up. The first thing to do when creating this makeup look is to moisturize and prime the face and eyes. The primer I used is ‘Baby Skin’ by Maybelline. This is a great primer that is light weight with a smooth texture. Primers will prep the skin for the foundation application. For the foundation, I chose to use MAC’s Pro Longwear. The liquid foundation gives a medium to full coverage to the skin. I applied a sheer layer of mineral foundation powder by Eyemimo in ‘Medium Day Tone‘, with the matte bronzer by MAC.

Moving onto the eyes, I decided to use colors from Eyemimo’s eyeshadow collection. These shadows are soft and fully pigmented. I used the shadows in Milky, Sunset, Peach Petal, Classic Gold, Plum Passion, and Jet Black. A simple winged eyeliner was created with a black e.l.f. cream liner and angled brush. To top the whole eye look off, I popped on some Eyemimo false eyelashes in #NTR05.

Dont be afraid to try something more daring! Hopefully this inspired you and try it out. Change up your daily look and go for something more dramatic!
