Post 4th of July Outfit

Hey ladies,

I know that 4th of July has passed but I wanted to share my quick look for this past Independence Day. It has been hot the past couple days so I wanted to pick something that was going to be lightweight and comfortable, so I chose a star patterned maxi dress by Denim & Supply by Ralph Lauren. It’s a full length cotton dress that hugs the body just right for easy movement throughout my day and night.

I had decided to layer it with a red flannel that was not too fitted but tied the ends. With a looser flannel, it becomes easy to lose shape to my body and make me look boxier than I want. Giving a little tug at the ends to create a knot allows me to accentuate my  waistline. Taking the time to style the items you wear can always help add a little more flare to the outfit. This flannel is also made by Denim&Supply by Ralph Lauren sold at Macy’s Department Store located in Union Square – a shopping mecca of San Francisco.

As for beauty, I used EYEMIMO’s pigmented Eye Shadow in below colors.

Sunset

Brown Sugar

A simple winged black eyeliner

and EYEMIMO false eyelashes style #NTR55 complete my eye look.

To complete the whole look, I threw on some brown sandals by Tommy Hilfiger and a grey cross body bag from Marc Jacobs. For some final touches, I accessorized with some gold bracelets, earrings, and a necklace.
