Flashing back to a decade ago, 2008 to be exact, I experienced and understood what it meant to put 3.5 years time & energy and finally saw the result. The first three-and-a-half years was an endless effort to get FalseEyelashesStore.com being found on Google while at the same time gave birth and raised a daughter.
One day in 2008, the effort of Search Engine Optimization came to realization. Typed False Eyelashes on Google, the website: FalseEyelashesStore.com was listed number 1 on the search result. Sales jumped 400 – 500%.
Wholesale inquiries were seen as a new opportunity. As a result, Eyemimo brand was created to accommodate wholesale demand.
During the (felt like) overnight growth, a buyer from Urban Outfitter called up to inquire color eyelashes to be retailed at their stores nationwide. When an established big retailer approached, It felt like a new chapter was about to start. About 4,000 – 5,000 pairs of color eyelashes were ordered by Urban Outfitter. However, order did not repeat.
Recently, I discovered (pictures below) on Ebay what seems to be leftover from Urban Outfitters.
