My trip to Spain involved packing for every occasion. When I travel, I like to prepare for a good mix of adventure and glamour, while fitting in with the culture I will be visiting, so I think of all potentials. If you are planning a trip, consider the following when packing for the fashion portion of your trip:

1. Outfits. I find it is better to pack outfits and coordinate with shoe choices beforehand, rather than haphazardly mixing and matching pieces.
2. Try it on. Your weight may have fluctuated or styles may have changed since you last went away, so try it all on before you leave.
3. Variety. Some evenings out will require more casual looks; other evenings will call for more glam looks. Anticipate a 60/40 or 70/30 ratio. In my years of traveling, I have found it usually works out like that, but it also depends on the trip.
4. Work out your accessories and undergarments. Bring just a few pieces of jewelry, shawls, and jackets that are transitional, and consider the necessary and appropriate undergarments.
5. Strut your stuff. You’re going on vacation! It’s a great time to display your best looks.
