Eyemimo: Please tell us about yourself?
Laura: Hi! I’m Laura! I’m a laid back, California girl who found love in the Midwest and now freezes almost all year round! I also found love in makeup artistry 14 years ago and have been living my dream ever since. I can be found hanging at home (preferably in bed snuggling) with my little family, drinking the same cup of coffee for several hours and counting to three. 🤷🏻♀️

Eyemimo: What do you like the most and the least being a makeup artist?
Laura: What I love most about being a makeup artist is helping women feel beautiful and connecting with them through the process. I also love to be creative; it feeds my soul! What I dislike the most is having to plan vacations out so far in advance. Haha. Due to typically booking weddings about a year ahead I really have to intentionally try to find time to block out just for travel and family time. No spontaneous trips for this girl!

Eyemimo: Do you have any makeup advice that you would like to share with us?
Laura: Take care of your skin or you’re makeup will never look as good as it could. It’s never too early for a night cream. I wish I had worn sunscreen from birth. Exfoliate. Wash off that makeup before bed, girl. Drink all the water. Do all the things that are not invasive to love on your skin.
