Winter has gone, Spring is in and Summer is approaching. Time flies. The fourth makeup artists, we are featuring this year are from San Francisco Bay Area. Allow us to introduce Ana and Janet, the duo behind L Makeup Studio who’s been consistently applying Eyemimo lashes on their clients since they formed their studio together. We are very grateful for the continued loyalty that Ana and Janet have been giving to Eyemimo.

Eyemimo: Please tell us about yourself?
L Makeup Studio: We are 2 makeup artists and cosmetologist, mothers & wives who own a boutique style makeup studio offering makeup services, spray tans and special event hairstyling.

Eyemimo: What do you like the most and the least being a makeup artist?
L Makeup Studio: One of the best aspects of being a MUA is being a part of someone’s special day and making them not only look their best, but also feel their best. When they see themselves in the mirror and light up that is such a rewarding feeling. The profession it self is not always taken seriously it’s not just a hobby, also unrealistic expectations from photoshopped pictures!

Eyemimo: Do you have any makeup advice that you would like to share with us?
L Makeup Studio: Take care of your skin! Don’t be afraid to try a smokey eye or a bright red lip, at the end of the day, it washes off.

Eyemimo: Is there anything else you want to share with us? such as the highlight moment of your career?
L Makeup Studio: Passing our 5 year mark in business is a huge accomplishment to continue to grow. We truly turned our passion into our career.
